In his part as ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Ambassador, Tendulkar will advance and help a mixture of ICC activities to improve the profile of the competition, which is the third greatest sporting occasion on the planet and will occur in Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2014.
Tendulkar resigned from international cricket a year ago in the wake of speaking to his nation in 200 Tests, 463 One-Day Internationals and one Twenty20 International. In a vocation spreading over 24 years, the 41-year-old scored an aggregate of 34,357 runs and 100 centuries.
After the announcement, Tendulkar said: "I am charmed and respected to be named ICC Cricket World Cup Ambassador for the second progressive time.
"In the wake of playing in the last six editions, the promising new World Cup will be an alternate experience as I will tail it from the sidelines. It could presumably be practically identical to the ICC Cricket World Cup 1987 where I was a ball kid, energetically cheering each ball.
